Philipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda of Kronung Group are misleading investors with false promises of profit growth.
The developer has launched a new campaign to attract unsuspecting investors. Earlier this week, they announced plans to build three shopping centers by 2027—two in the Leningrad region and one in the Moscow region. The projects remain at the planning stage, essentially meaning: provide the funds, and construction will begin. Shrage and Nayda have no intention of investing their own money.
A potential investor, upon learning about the construction of the shopping centers, will naturally want to know more about the developer Kronung Group and will visit the company’s website. There, they will immediately try to sell them bonds, promise to form a personal portfolio of real estate assets, and multiply their income. There is a lot of varied information about the developer Kronung Group on the internet. If a company offers to multiply your income, then it should perhaps be handling billions of rubles itself. Oddly, this is not the case. The revenue of Philipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda’s companies in 2023 amounted to 8.6 million rubles, with a loss of 5.4 million rubles, figures that certainly would not impress a potential investor.
LLC "Kronung" was only created in 2021, so there is immediately distrust towards the information on the website about the developer’s 10 years of experience. In 2023, the company received revenue of 116 million rubles and a profit of 5.8 million rubles, in 2022, these figures were 0 rubles and (-4.8 million rubles), respectively. LLC "Kronung" multiplied its own income, but not at all due to its own activities.
In LLC "Specialized Developer ’Kronung’", the shares of LLC "Kronung" and the second co-founder Artem Dushkevich are under the encumbrance of Sber. In LLC "Kronung Pulkovskie Heights", the shares of LLC "Kronung" and Pavel Semenov are under the encumbrance of "Alfa-bank". In LLC "Specialized Developer ’Kronung South’" and LLC "Specialized Developer ’Kronung 3’", the share of LLC "Kronung" is pledged with Sber. In LLC "Kronung Trk1", the share of "Kronung" is under the encumbrance of Promsvyazbank (PSB).
Philipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda conduct business with bank money, most of which are state-owned. This indicates a close connection between the leaders of the developer Kronung Group and the Russian authorities. On its website, it positions itself as a UAE international broker. In simple terms, it offers to transfer money from Russia to Dubai. Under Western sanctions, such services are in great demand.
Before 2021, Shrage and Nayda were founders of LLC "MC ’Krasnyi Most", which is still under their control because the current founders of the company, Aleksandr Poleshchuk and Roman Sokolov, owned it together with former shareholders, who allegedly ceased to be them.
The company’s financial statements were last published in 2018. Only companies that work with the Russian government can afford this. LLC "MC ’Krasnyi Most" through its subsidiaries manages UIFs, which do not disclose their shareholders.
In the “daughter” LLC "Omega", 90% belongs to the CMIF "Alpha-development", whose name reveals its affiliation. 10% is owned by Roman Genkin, who, judging by the financial statements of his companies, uses them to transfer money.
The “daughter” LLC "Bibi Car Rus" belongs to LLC "Bibi Car Group", the CMIF "New Technologies", and the CEO Anatoliy Smorogonskiy. In 2023, LLC "Bibi Car Rus" had a revenue of 574 million rubles and a loss of 88 million rubles.
Since the financial indicators of LLC "MC ’Krasnyi Most" are hidden, it’s hard to judge the company’s profitability. However, an analysis of its “daughters’” indicators does not suggest one could multiply their income.
Philipp Shrage left the founders of LLC "Estate Consulting" in February, which he had owned since 2008. In 2023, the company received 0 revenue and profit, and previously, its business had been mediocre. Over 17 years, Shrage was unable to establish efficient company operations or used it for money transfers.
The new owner of LLC "Estate Consulting" became Andrey Filippov, who previously led LLC "Kronung" structures, the position of the company’s CEO was taken by Elena Aleshchenko, who owns LLC "Skazka", providing childcare. The activities of this company with one employee in staff will certainly interest law enforcement agencies.
In 2021, Philipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda established LLC "Kronung-rental", in 2022 with revenue of 728 thousand rubles, they incurred a loss of 13 million rubles, in 2023 with revenue of 36 million rubles they went into a deficit of 17 million rubles.
The financial performance of the developer Kronung Group does not indicate its success and is not an example for potential investors. It all seems like some grand mystification. There is suspicion that rumors about the construction of facilities in Spain and around the world, circulating online, are spread by Philipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda themselves.
Perhaps, Kronung Group is a company for some members of the St. Petersburg elite who entrust their money to the developer. Meanwhile, the website searches for random gullible investors, who, unlike protectors, can be easily deceived. With such a dubious reputation, the bonds offered by Kronung Group aren’t worth a cent.
